What we collect, why, and how to get rid of it. The site takes enquiries and orders, and sets nothing on your device unless you agree to it.

If you send an enquiry: your name, your email address, what you asked for, and anything you choose to tell us about a relative who served.
If you buy a tour pack: your name, your email address, your telephone number and your billing address. The card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us — what we keep is who paid, what for, how much, and when.
The telephone number and billing address come from the payment page. We ask for them so that we can reach you about a tour at short notice, and because they are what evidences a payment if it is ever disputed.
Only if you say yes. This site sets nothing on your device of its own accord — no cookies to make it work, none to remember you, and none for advertising, ever.
The one thing we would like to set is Google Analytics, so that we know how many people visited and which pages they read. It is never loaded when the page opens. If it is running, a banner asks you first, and nothing is requested from Google and nothing is stored until you accept. Decline, and the site sets no cookies at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies named _ga and one beginning _ga_, which last two years. They tell us how many people visited and which pages they read. They do not tell us who you are, and we do not use them for advertising.
Google processes that data on our behalf, which can include transferring it outside the UK.
You can change your mind at any time, and it is as easy to take back as it was to give — there is a button at the end of this page.
We keep enquiries and orders indefinitely, and we should be straight with you about why: an order is the record of a sale, which we need for tax and in case a payment is ever queried, and an enquiry is often the start of a conversation that picks up again years later.
We keep a log of emails we have sent you — who it went to, what it was about and when. We do not keep copies of the messages themselves, and we never store your download links.
Your card details are never ours to keep. Stripe handles the payment and we only ever see who paid, what for, how much, and when.
When you agreed to immediate supply at the checkout, we recorded the date and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address. We cannot turn it back into an address; it exists only to evidence that the agreement happened.
If you would rather we did not keep your details, ask us and we will delete what we are not legally required to hold.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to how we use it, and you can ask us to send it to you in a portable form.
There is no charge, and we will answer within one month.
Email info@frontlinetours.co.uk. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we are not handing your details to somebody else.
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Peter Jefferies is the data controller for this site.

We would like to count visits with Google Analytics, which sets a cookie. It is not needed for the site to work, and nothing is loaded unless you say yes.
